Thanks for visiting my site
If you're a fellow investor, or you might be, you've come to the right page. I'm a private investor, and companies and markets editor of Interactive Investor. My job is to understand and explain investing in UK companies, so please join me for (almost) daily comment and analysis on the Interactive Investor Blog and Twitter.
For an introduction, to value investing see the four part series I wrote for Interactive Investor:
- In theory: Value investing from the masters
- In theory: How much to pay
- In practice: First steps
- In practice: Finding companies and analysing them
Share Sleuth
The Share Sleuth column appears monthly in Money Observer magazine. It tracks the Share Sleuth portfolio. A typical Share Sleuth company is small, out of favour or just forgotten by investors and the media. I look back over many years of annual reports to answer three questions: What does the company do, how safe is it, and what's it worth?
